How To Find The Best Perfomance Of A Jl Audio Amp
Audio amplifier is an integrated part of a car stereo. For a better sound quality one must use a amplifier for that purpose. The purpose of usage of such amplifier is to project the music in a very better and expected way. The music lovers would prefer using this kind of amplifiers just to make sure they have good music to their ears. JL audio is a very well established and respected company which marks its name in the field of all cars stereo and other integrated parts manufacture. It includes speakers, amplifiers, car audio and sub woofers. They are known very well for their best quality and performance individually. But how to adjust a JL audio amplifier?
The first step is considered to be the most important thing to be done while performing the task of installing an amplifier from JL audio. This is the hookup in this task. The proper reproduction of the music will take place only if the amplifiers are adjusted properly. Following few simple steps will make the process of adjusting the amplifier very easy and it is also free of cost when you yourself handle all the repairs in your car.
The initial important step is the cross over setting of the amplifier. There are two types of frequency signals the high and the low. The filter sets provided to refine these two frequency ranges is known as the cross over. There are two filters one is the high pass and other is the low pass. The bass is eliminated by the high pass and the treble is eliminated by the low pass.
Speakers in the dash or doors of the car require very less amount of power. In such cases the cross over can be set as 100 Hz. This acts as a high pass. But in the case of woofers it acts as low pass. The cross over settings is variable. So refining the sound to our taste and requirement is also very simple. It is simple as cutting down or increasing the frequency.
The next step is setting the amplifier's level of gain control. Switch on the car receiver at a volume in which one always listens to. Until slight distortion is produced the gain control is turned to the clockwise direction while the music is on the run. Put it back anti clockwise until the distortion lowers.
The amplifier's bass boost is then set. This is the next thing to be done. This bass boost comes as an in built feature of few audio's manufactured by JL groups.
If any kind of large speakers or woofers are to be powered then the bass boost is to be adjusted in a way so as to enhance the quality and match the taste of the music lover. This will be helpful in providing an extra bass to the type of music of your own choice.
To have a perfect car audio and music of his choice, one must always know how to adjust a JL audio amplifier.

Boss CE2004? well please give me advices because i'm not very good in audio. the links are below. thanks.

PLEASE HELP!! Help with my car amplifier?
I recently bought a 2002 Chevy Impala, and in the trunk there was a Phoenix Gold Amp. I can't find anything online about it, and I'm not even sure how to power it. I do know the trunk had a leak, so I'm not even sure if it works. Does anyone know about this Phoenix Gold M44 Triple Darlington Amplifier, and can anyone tell me where I can get some information on it? Thanks in advance!

How to define how much wattage a power supply outputs?
I'm trying to design a power supply that specifically has 2 12V DC outputs, and outputs ~600 watts of power. I'm decent at building power supplies as I've made several in the past, but they only regarded voltage output, nothing of Wattage. The reason I'm doing this, is because I purchased a car amplifier that I plan to put inside a vehicle in the future, but for now I have it powering two speakers and a subwoofer, being powered by what I believe to be around a 100 watt PSU, though the amp is rated at 600W. If I have all the speakers plugged in, and set it somewhat above half the PSU, not the amp, shuts off, and I have to restart it in order for it to work. Since the only power supply I own that can provide the power needed is being used in my current computer, I can't exactly use that one. So what I want to do is create a power supply that has the sole purpose of outputting 12V on one or two rails, and outputs roughly 600Watts.
Now, what I'm about to say may make just about anyone who's actually DECENT at building power supplies cry, but bear with me. From what I've put together, according to ohms law, I = V/R, So if my voltage is to be 12V carrying 600amps, I would need .02Ohms of resistance.
Again, still in high school, not exactly a professional at this, but the learning has to start somewhere. So any help is greatly appreciated
