The Best Way To Buy Car Audio For Your Car
These days, most of the cars contain stereos inside them. But, that has not cancelled the need to buy the car audio system separately from the aftermarket. Well, there are several reasons why purchasing the audio system from the aftermarket is a profitable deal. So, if you consider these benefits, you will understand why it is better to buy an audio system separately.
First, and most importantly perhaps, the price of the car that contains a high quality audio in it comes at a very expensive price. This excess of price is several times higher than the actual price of the audio system when bought separately. So, if you are buying it from the aftermarket, you are saving a good deal of money. Of course, you are ready to spend bucks for your car. But what's the point in spending money unnecessarily? Besides, you are not going to set a high budget for the car audio. However, the approach of the dealers is very deceptive. They will tell you everything that is invested in the system; but they will not tell you the amount you have to invest in it.
Also, the dealers have to deal with several overheads and they must cover them through the deals. Nothing can be more effective in this regard than to push an overpriced car audio system for your car. If you don't believe it, a mere comparison of price will make you convinced.
However, you can simply avoid spending unnecessary money by just purchasing a separate audio system from the aftermarket. There are several car audio shops that will provide you with a lot of options to choose from. In fact, in such shops, you will find more variations than you will see in any general car dealers. After all, they are dedicated to the car subwoofers and therefore, will have a better range of variety.
There are several parts of the car. The audio system is certainly one of them. But, it is by no means the most important part of the car. So, be aware that you are not paying more than what is required. On the other hand, for the car audio stores, this is their focus of attention. In fact, the leading audio stored will have experts who have specialized in different areas of the audio system. Naturally, when you talk to them, you will have a better understanding of the entire system. This will in turn, help you in taking the right decision.
Here, you have to pick out the stores that have car stereos as their only product for sell. A common accessory store will once again, will not pay total attention to the audio system. This is why the Car Stereos4U is such an important store. They have some of the best products in terms of car audio. They have specialists to answer all your queries and show you the right way.

Does this system setup work?
I'm building a sound system for my car. I'm not worried about anything fitting in my car (mostly because it all does and if I decide to get anything else, alterations can be made) but I'm curious to know if everything I have picked works well together, or if I'm overpowering this or that, or if I have the right gauge wiring, etc etc.
My setup includes (90% rocket surgery to me):
2 Alpine 6-1/2" coaxial speakers - 240w peak/60w RMS (SPE-6000's)
2 Alpine 10" Type E Single-Voice-Coil 4ohm subs (SWE-1043)
Kenwood 1000w Class AB Bridgeable 2-Chan w/ Low-Pass Crossover Amplifier - 500w RMS/250w x 2 @ 2 ohms or 340w/170w x 2 @ 4 ohms (KAC-7205)
Kenwood 50w x 4 MOSFET - 22w RMS (DDX418)
8 gauge sub kit (12ga speaker wire included)
Basically to make this all a bit simpler: Will the 8ga sub kit work for my amp/subs, 12ga wiring work for the speakers, is the amp overpowering/under-powered, does the deck work fine with all the aforementioned, specific setup in order for this to operate at peak performance, etc etc. I have googled, wiki'ed and crutchfield'ed everything I possibly could to learn what I can but not enough information is provided for me to understand whether or not everything coincides.
I need a car audio 101 lecture here, but I only took one semester of electronics in high school so unless you're talkin about resistors and basic stuff like that it's over my head. Just sayin.. Also, a preemptive thank you.
