Buying Your Next Car Audio System Online

Your next purchase of car audio accessories can be a much simpler process if you consider the wide array of available equipment online. It does not matter if you are looking for a CD player, an amplifier, or speaker systems, you will find many different brands, such as Kenwood, Pioneer, and Scion. They are top name systems, not some little known product that you would be afraid to install in your car.

From subwoofers to MP3 players, the car audio accessories that you are looking to install in your vehicle can be found online. Are you on a budget but still want your audio system to be top notch? Consider purchasing used audio accessories.

Everybody wants to put the best car audio system they can find. However, sometimes it is just not practical to get a high-end system. You may be short on cash when it comes to finding the right system for your car. You can still get optimal sound at a low-end price. Look at the bright side. When you are in a better financial situation, this system can always be upgraded.

Some of the basic things you want to look for in a car audio system are the equalizer, sub-woofer, and amplifiers. The speakers are also important because you want the best sound you can get. Sony makes a good speaker. Pioneer and Kicker are also good brands. When it comes to having the performance you need and the value, this can be a major decision.

An online store is the best place to buy the whole set up of audio equipment that you want. Try sticking to all the same brand because the delivery of the sound will be better. If you are looking for an amp as well, you may be lucky enough to find the same brand as the rest of your equipment.

An amplifier is a very important part of your car audio system. Since it is what will be used for increasing the power of the signal you are receiving, if the amplifier is not a good one, your music may not sound very good. The amplifier you choose is going to decide the quality of the sound of your stereo. This is what determines if you have clear sound as well as loud.

The availability of the audio system that you have decided to purchase is one consideration. The online option offers more available equipment without having to wait for it to be ordered. You have options as to when your merchandise will arrive. Most online stores offer standard and priority shipping. So if you are in a hurry for your audio system, you may want to choose priority shipping.

Before you take off to the neighborhood audio store, check into online car audio systems and accessories. You may find that it a whole lot more convenient and the prices may fool you as well.

two ohm stable amplifier with only 1 ohm on it?
I have a j l audio a1400 class d monoblock amplifier that is stable at 2 or 4 ohms. I just got a set of pioneer 12 inch speakers with dual voice coils at 4 ohms in each of them(400 Watts rms each) i had them set up to show 4 ohms at the amplifier. I went to my local car audio store to consider getting a better amplifier. But i was told to hook them up to show 1 ohm at the amplifier. I called jl audio technical support who told me they don't recommend that. Can anyone tell me what will happen if i do this ? Basically i will be showing 1 ohm on an amplifier that is rated for either 2 or 4 ohms?? What should i do?? And the speakers are plus to plus.... negative 2 negative.. Well that's the strange thing spencer. Is the car audio shop wired them up for me at 1 ohm and they are working without the amplifier going into a protect mode???? They said with this type of amplifier and my total rms wattage they would be just fine... but now i am afraid to turn the volume up......LOL.

How to get most out of Alpine type r 12?
I have a alpine type r 12 wired to a alpine mrp m500 amp at 4 ohms. I've heard they can handle big boxes which can give you deeper bass than the atrend box I got at the car audio store. Can I buy a bigger box that maxs out it's potential or do I have to build one and if so can you leave specs or a website. Thanks -also it's in a 2002 pathfinder if air space is another factor

Amplifier going into protection mode?
I'm having a little problem with my system that I've put together. First off, I'll start off be listing the equipment I'm using, and how they are wired. Amp: SSL Evolution EV2500M MOSFET Monoblock - 2500 WATT amp. Subwoofers: 2 12" Dual 4 ohm S-Series Subwoofers * Peak: 1200 watts per pair / 600 watts each * RMS: 600 watts per pair / 300 watts each * Dual Voice Coil 4 ohms This is the exact URL of the subwoofers I have: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300435729477&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT This is how I have them wired: http://www.the12volt.com/12voltimages/2_4ohm_dvc_1ohm.gif This is my HU: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Xplod+52W+x+4+Apple%26%23174%3B+iPod%26%23174%3B-/Satellite+Radio-/HD-Ready+In-Dash+CD+Deck/9764393.p?id=1218169468156&skuId=9764393 EVERYTHING is brand new. HU is a week and a half old - never had any problems. Amplifier is two days old - I wired it same day I got it, hooked up two really weak subs that I had laying around to make sure it was working. Subwoofers just arrived today - never been used before now. Okay now here is my problem: When I turn car on, everything is fine. Anytime I raise my volume above 8, my amplifier goes into protection mode, and the subwoofers stop. I'll turn my car off, turn it back on and everything is working again. Up until I put volume up to 8 or higher again. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? There are settings on the back of the amplifier, such as db, and hz, but I don't know what I should be setting those at, or if that's even the problem. Is amp too strong for these subwoofers? Too weak? When I purchased my amplifier at the car audio store, I told the dealer what subs I was purchasing, and this is the amplifier he recommended for what I have. Do I just have a dud amplifier? Any help at all would be appreciated. I re-wired my subs to a 2ohm load instead of the 1 ohm load, and all seems okay now. My mistake for listening to salesman telling me that these subs need to be wired at 1ohm and handing me a diagram of the wiring.

what is a good 1800 watt amp? 25 points to best answer?
I had an alpine type r 4 ohm sub it was 1800 watt peak power and like 600 watt rms it the new 2010 edition. But someone broke into my truck last night and jacked it. I went and bought a Boston g2 today just cause it was a good deal and this new guy was like at the car audio store was like "oh the type r is too powerful for your amp"(yea right b*tch i had it for like 3 weeks and it was hitting good.) and way i am a dumb ass and bought something i wasn't sure about. Anyway I hate the boston g2 it sounds like an infant playing basketball on a shag carpet compared to my alpine...SO.. i want to get another alpine type r but maybe will it hit harder with a 1800 watt amp and what kind of amp should i get like what brand N sh*t. Thanks all answers are appriciated. ;)
