Few questions about car audo...?
Ok guys well since my car isnt really anything nice i was thinking of atleast putting a sound system in it. I thought it would be as easy as buying a sub and an amp. But no its not. So ive got a few questions i could take help with. Im thinking of just doing mabye a 15 inch sub and just one mono amp. Will that work? I dont think ive seen anyone with just one amp and a big sub in there car... The subs ive been looking at say 1 ohm or 2 ohm stable... i dont understand how this relates to the amp... If i get a 1 ohm sub... what do i do for the amp? i havent seen a 1ohm amp. Also What is solo-baric? Ive seen it on some Kicker subs just wondering what it means. Also, last question... when people list the Hz, what does that mean? I know this may be noob questions for yall but i really dont understand this so any help/links will be appreciated.

IS it possible to trim the box of a Sub Woofer for a car audo system and get decent sound?
Alright i totaled my old car it was a honda civic hatchback and the sub box took every last bit of trunk space. My new car has alot less trunk space so i would have to trim the sub box down. I believe its an 18" sub. How would i go about getting it to fit in my new car?
