Car Audio System Help!!?
I have a 4-door Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition SUV and I want to put a new system in it because the stock system stinks. I know a little about car audio, so any help would be great. I know about how the RMS wattage has to be near the same, but I don't quite understand the channels or the ohms things. The system i picked out for it was:
Hifonics Car Audio BXI1206D "Brutus" MonoBlock Car Amplifier 1200 Watts RMS
http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=BXI1206D
Kicker Car Audio 08DS12L54 Dual 12" Vented Sub Enclosure Loaded with Solo-Baric L5 Subwoofers 2400 Watts
http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=08DS12L54
and 4 Pyramid 5x7/6x8" 3-Way Triaxial Speakers 300 Watts
http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=5791
and i haven't decided what deck to get yet, will all of this work and not blow out or will it just not work? and if it doesn't work please help me with a double-sub system that would be good. Thanks.

Subwoofer/amplifier need professionals?
2 FI Q8 15" subwoofers - 2000 rms combined
Possible Amplifiers:
Pioneer PRS-D2000SPL 4000 Watts Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier (PRSD2000SPL)
Hifonics Car Audio Brutus BXi 2010D Mono Block Car Amplifier 2000 Watts RMS (BXi2010D)
T2500-1bd-2500 Watt Class-bd Mono Amplifier
Since the total rms for the subwoofers is 2000 watts i need to know the following:
-what ohm's should i get on each subwoofer; dual 1 or dual 2?
-What does it mean by channels?
-Does the rms of the amp have to just meet the rms of both subwoofers or is there more to it?: im not well informed on all the wiring such as the channels and such.
Also i would like to know any suggestions on amplifiers for a good price; no more than $800-900.
thanks for all the help!
