Listen to Your Music on a Grom Audio Car Adapter

The Apple iPod makes it easy to listen to all of your favorite music at any time you wish with ease. And with the new Grom Audio car adapter, you can take your iPod with you just about anywhere as you drive your vehicle to work, school, and everywhere else.

One of the best reasons to buy a Grom Audio car adapter is the fact that you will have incredibly easy installation. The type of installation that so many are looking for in a car audio iPod adapter is referred to as "plug and play" installation. With this type of installation, all you will need to do is attach your iPod car adapter to the factory interface of your car radio. If there are any wires with which you are not familiar, it should be easy enough to simply follow the instructions in the user manual to connect your new device. If the process proves to be a little more difficult than that, you can also speak with a trained and knowledgeable car audio installation expert. He or she will be able to help you identify all the details you need to know about your vehicle and the device to go along with it. And as a perk, the Grom Audio car adapter charges your iPod while you drive.

You may need to speak with a car audio installation expert because he or she will be able to tell you exactly which device is compatible with your vehicle. IPods and cars alike don't come with an option for "one size fits all, " so naturally, neither do iPod car adapters. Different adaptations of the Grom Audio adapter are equipped to accommodate a variety of different vehicles. For example, Chrysler is a popular car make with which the Grom is compatible. So is the Volkswagen. Grom Audio iPod adapters are created for these types of vehicles specifically. Speak with a car audio installation consultant to determine which car adapter is best for your vehicle.

Perhaps the best features of the Grom Audio adapter is the newfound control you'll have over your music. You will be able to make the decision whether you want to control the music in your car from either your iPod or the buttons and knobs on your radio interface. Either will work, and you can actually use both at once if you'd like. In certain cars there may also be an option to use the radio controlling buttons and knobs on your steering wheel as well, or a radio remote control that you can purchase separately to attach to your steering wheel. With the Grom Audio iPod car adapter, you'll probably have more choices of how you can control the music in your car than you ever thought possible before.

Can I attach a subwoofer directly to Sony car stereo without Amp?
Sorry, but I m really not good at car audio. I have a Sony CDX-GT490US, with Sony Speakers. All I want a little more Low bass. I really couldn't figure out by reading the manual if I can directly attach a subwoofer or not. Local car audio shop guys just insist on installing an Amp. They say you cant install a sub directly. Anyone good at this stuff?

I Blew 2 kicker amps and one hifonics amp in one week. Whats wrong?
Alright, so i started out with a Kicker 300.2 running my comonents, and a kicker 1250.1 running 2 L7 12's in an 8 cubic foot box, vented, tuned to 30hz. All of the sudden my subs went out and the service message came up on my 1250.1. So i got rid of it and replaced it with an almost brand new Hifonics 1606d. Then after a good hour of playing it pretty hard my kicker 300.2 gave out. It still powers up, and lights up but no audio comes out. While trying to troubleshoot, i had it at about half volume with noise coming only from my subs, my Hifonics amp cut out and i smelled a burning smell coming from it. Now my Hifonics wont even power up. I've got 1/0awg power wire to my bigger amp, and 8awg power to my smaller amp. I have 10awg speaker wire to my subs and 14awg to my components. I have a Duralast 850 cold cranking amp battery, and a 200 amp alternator. Its all in the back of a 94 ford taurus. Please, any help is appretiated. I know my hofonics is toast, and i sent my kicker 1250.1 into my local car audio shop for diagnostic. I cant afford for this to happen again, and i dont want to install another amp unless i know the problem is solved. Thank You, -Andy The total rms for the two subs is 1500 watts. While the kicker 1250.1 is underated at 1250 wrms at 1 ohm. While the Hifonics 1606d is rated at 1600 wrms at 1 ohm. And i have a fuse located about 8 inches from my battery. I also have the gains set about 1/4 the way up. I know it wasnt clipping because i heard no distortion.

So much to know about car audio :O?
Ok, this is the third post i have made. I am beginning to become confused. LOL. I was originally thinking SPL, but, I would be going for everyday use, so that's out, and I wouldn't enter comps, unless i wanted some fun. So, I have gone between so many types of brands and subs, i am completely head *F-Bombed* about what to do. What should I go for? I would like to stay under $3500 AUD for a first sound system. I would like about 2-3000 watts so It will last my basshead needs forever :P I don't want SPL because I like bass, but not bad quality blow your brains out bass. I have been told by people on here it is SQ vs SPL, i choose SQ so I am still kindof stuck. Any suggestions on what to get for good SQ, head thumping power and a good price. I have been looking at Fi BTL's Fi in general, Kicker, JL, and also Soundstream which i know is quite good. So, Soundstream Tarantula T5's 1000watt each (2 of em) and not sure on what amps, and the rest. I know if I go to my local car audio specialist, they will tell me what I need, but I would like to have something on my mind, recommended by whoever reads this. Like I said, good SQ, decent amount of power and not burning a hole in my wallet :) (what is better than soundstream and JL for SQ and power?)
