<title>Refurbished Car Audio</title>
<description>Refurbished Car Audio Products...Subwoofers, Amplifiers? Ok...I found a website that offers refurbished audio products such as subs and amps for much less than in the store or even on ebay...What are the chances they will sound exactly the same or I will not know the difference...What are the chances they will break sooner or perform with lower quality??

Just wondering if these products are reliable or not...
I can get great deals on Kicker CVX, L5 and L7

And also I believe they come with a year warranty...not sure

Thanks guys
The site is at Ubid.com

under car electronics search kicker...
also where are these discounts on warranties??

<title>Polk Audio Car Speakers</title>
<description>problem with my new 6x9 car speakers (polk audio).? Ok so i recently bought polk audio 6x9 speakers type db691. they are 300w peak each. So when i got them i opened my package and took 1 speaker to my car to test it. I plug it in and turn on my car, and to my dissapointment i could barley hear anything comming from the back. I got db651 polk audio 6.5 in my doors that sound awesome. these 6.5 sounded better then the 6x9 even though they are the same brand and model. So i came home and let my brother know. he took out his 6x9 in the back of his car and put mine in there place. Then he messed with his deck and adjusted the settings to only play my 6x9&#039;s and added a bit bass boost. What do you know, bad quality again. He turned them up high and they sounded like $10 broken speakers. He then switched the wires around. he put - wire on + speaker visa versa. The quality sunded much better, more cear. He turned the volume up this time and the speakers handled it well. My question is, is this normal? Is it safe for my speakers to run them like this? Were the speakers + and - reversed at the factory by accident or is this normal? I dont want to go through the hasstle of returning these speakers as i got them through amazon. But at the same time i dont want to keep them if they are somehow defective. Can anyone help me? Any help is appreciated =]
I am running it off a pioneer premier deh-p410ub no amp. It is mosfet 50wx4. And when we tested the 6x9&#039;s we had both running the same and just the front 6.5 faded so we can only hear the 6x9. But amp or not, the 6.5 door speakers i have are amazing, no excuss for the 6x9 to be bad.

Does anyone know where u can download one from without having to pay 29.95? Most times you can go on to a manufacturers website and download an owners manual; but not pioneer, it cost.

<title>Pioneer Car Stereo</title>
<description>Why does Pioneer car stereo sometimes go to safety mode when car starts? I have Pioneer DUH-p4000ub car stereo and a couple of times, when I started the car, the radio was just dead. I brought it into the dealer, the fuses and power in the car were alright, but when they reset the radio by removing it, the stereo worked again. I imagine it&#039;s going into safety mode? Can this be because I&#039;m using my car&#039;s (protege 2002) original speakers and that they are measuring 4.4 ohms instead of 4? Please help! Thanks!
